ABOUT UNDERSTANDING THE WORD

Understanding the Word was founded on the principles of exactly what the name suggest; helping everyone understand the Word of God. Our goal is to share His Word by supplying Life Application Study Bibles to anyone who has a willingness to learn the teachings of our Lord and giving them the tools to understanding how they can be applied in their daily lives. 

Humble Beginnings

In 2020, our ministry began with a leading from the Holy Spirit to provide a Life Application Study Bible to all that seek knowledge from the Bible or thought it was impossible to read and understand the Bible. We were also led to customize each Bible to the individual. What started as a small endeavor quickly transformed into a profound calling from the Messiah to expand our reach and share our gift with many more around the world. During a church service in March of 2024, Understanding The Word Ministries was giving a testimony, while presenting 2,000 Spanish Life Application Study Bibles for the Dominican Republic (see video below), it caught the attention of one of our State Representatives wife’s, who reached out and said it was on their hearts to get a bible to every Representative in Louisiana. We were honored to be able to get this done and be there to deliver them, in that moment, we knew that we were not limited to Louisiana that this needed to go further!

Expanding Across the United States

This endeavor was not just about distributing Bibles; it was about sharing a moment of joy and spiritual connection with those who received this beautiful gift. Witnessing the impact firsthand solidified our belief that this mission should extend beyond Louisiana. We felt a divine call to provide a Bible to every State Representative and Senator across the United States of America.

A Vision for the Future

As we work towards distributing Life Application Study Bibles to our Nations State Senators and State Representatives, our vision continues to grow. After reaching our goal at the state level, we plan to extend our efforts to the federal level, ensuring that the good Word of our Lord reaches even more influential leaders.

Continuing Our Global Mission

While we focus on this significant task, we remain committed to fulfilling the daily requests we receive from individuals around the world. To date, we have provided over 20,000 Bibles to those in need in Peru, Chili, Columbia, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, Russia, Honduras, Philippines, South Africa, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Germany, and the United States we are determined to continue spreading the Word far and wide.
